This New Zealand in Diploma (Level 6) (NZBD6) is a nationally recognised business programme helps you develop practical commercial skills to give you a solid foundation to enter the business world.

There are two core courses that must be studied as part of the New Zealand Diploma in Business (Level 6). Students are required to do an additional two elective courses with a specialisation in a “strand.”

Strategic Management & Marketing

The aim of this course is to provide students with an understanding of contemporary strategic management and develops skills. This allows students to respond and adapt to internal and external forces and anticipate and meet challenges facing organisations. Students are also involved in the practical application of strategy as a management tool. Marketing allows students to develop an understanding of creating the right product for the right price, with the correct placement and promotion and targeted to the right audience. These elements are brought together in the creation of a marketing plan.

Sustainable Business Practices & Operations Management

The aim of this course is to provide students with understanding of a range of approaches to sustainability in business; and apply this understanding by developing, evaluating and presenting a business concept promoting sustainable outcomes. Operation Management allows students to develop an understanding of managing operational effectiveness and the general nature and activities of production and operational systems.
